The Cranberries: We missed a gig

Many were disappointed when in 2003 The Cranberries decided they would no longer make music together. After 14 years of triumph in the international music world and spawned five albums, the band from Ireland has been pulled in not only popularity and material, but millions of loyal fans. So do not be surprised if news of their retreat from the music industry, which is triggered by a solo vocalist Dolores O'Riordan career, is seen as bad news.

But Dolores, Noel Hogan (guitar), Mike Hogan (bass), and Fergal Lawler (drums) was not lasting too long apart. After briefly appeared together at an event in 2009, the band decided to regroup and work on new album. They resumed touring series to greet fans in various parts of the world's longing, including Indonesia.
Before appearing in the Java Rockin Land on Saturday (23 / 7) at Ancol Carnaval Beach, The Cranberries (Dolores minus) had talked with Yahoo! Indonesia OMG about the vacuum them and their enthusiasm back to the music world.
After seven years of vacuum, what made you decide to get back together? When we decided to vacuum in 2003, we know someday we'll get together again. During the vacuum, we tried to keep keep in touch until January 2009, Dolores received an award from a university, and we played a small akustikan. Since then we began seriously thinking about doing something together again, starting from the tour to America. If it is successful, we will go. Turned out to tour a huge success, and we all enjoyed it.

Does this mean that The Cranberries are really back?Yes. We will be releasing a new album early next year, Roses album name, and we'll be back on tour around the world. October is the first single entitled "Tomorrow" will be released. Good thing we used to have a project each time is a vacuum, because in making the album was finished a lot of new influences in terms of music.

What's new in this Roses album? We already play the songs on this album to some people in the music industry already know us for a long time, and all say this album sounds like our first two albums: Everybody Else Is Doing It ... and No Need To argue. But there is a new sound as well. The Cranberries sound that makes it sound more fresh. Kinda hard to explain really, but if you heard his album, you'll know. There is his X factor.
